inlingua Luxembourg at the Erasmus+ HUB 2025!
This year, inlingua Luxembourg proudly took part in the Erasmus+ HUB Luxembourg — an inspiring event bringing together Erasmus+ beneficiaries, youth workers from Luxembourg and abroad, and talented young artists interested in the Erasmus+ programme.
We were excited to present our project PILLOT (Promoting Inclusive Language Learning Opportunities through Local Culture and Cultural Heritage for Learners with Refugee and Migrant Backgrounds), implemented under the Erasmus+ Partnerships programme.
Inclusive Learning for Migrants and Refugees
The PILLOT Project has developed a set of resources to support language learning through cultural heritage, designed specifically for learners with refugee and migrant backgrounds. These materials were created, tested, and documented as part of an Erasmus+ adult education project aimed at strengthening language skills while celebrating local culture.

TRAINING FOR EDUCATORS OF THE PILLOT PROJECT
Educators from the PILLOT project organized a joint training focused on methods and activities for integrated learning of language and cultural understanding.
In July, as part of the European PILLOT project, a successful joint training session for educators took place in Italy. The training and project meeting were held from July 8 to July 12, hosted by a local partner, the educational and cultural association Stazione Utopia.
PUBLICATION OF THE PRELIMINARY COLLECTION OF ACTIVITIES FOR THE PILLOT PROJECT
A draft version of the activity collection for integrated language learning and cultural education has been published.
In the initial phase of the international Pillot project, the team came together and proposed over 70 activities aimed at linking language education with cultural topics and heritage learning. From these, 17 of the most suitable approaches were selected for practical testing in all five partner countries: Poland, Romania, the Czech Republic, Italy, and Luxembourg.

The project operates under the Erasmus+ program, Cooperative Partnerships in Adult Education. Its goal is to explore existing approaches to language education in consortium countries and develop new methods for integrated teaching of foreign languages and culture.
