PROJECT PILLOT

Our PILLOT Project (Promoting Inclusive Language Learning Opportunities through Local Culture and Cultural Heritage for Learners with Refugee and Migrant Backgrounds) was presented during a truly inspiring international event Language Education of Adults through Cultural Heritage held at the Museum of Warsaw.

Our project coordinator shared valuable insights from the project’s journey — from the initial design stages to the testing and refinement of activities. A key takeaway? The power of simple, clear, and meaningful communication — an essential foundation for supporting migrants and refugees as they embark on learning a new language.

💡As the #PILLOT Project consortium, we believe that language is more than words — it’s about connection, identity, and empowerment.
Through this initiative, we continue to explore and refine innovative tools that make language learning accessible, engaging, and deeply rooted in cultural heritage.

This seminar was a wonderful reminder of the importance of inclusive education, and of collaboration between educators, cultural institutions, and communities to create meaningful learning experiences for all.
